How we make money and what that does — and does not — buy.
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and open an account, the operator may pay us a commission. You pay nothing extra and your terms are identical to those of any other customer.
What commission does not buy: a position in our ranking, a higher score, the removal of a criticism, or protection from being delisted. Ranking is determined by the published methodology on our How we rate page.
Every commercial outbound link carries rel="sponsored nofollow noopener" and opens in a new tab, and offers are labelled where the relationship is commercial.
We review operators we have no commercial relationship with, and we keep operators in the table where a relationship ends. If an operator loses its UK Gambling Commission licence, it is removed from the site entirely.
This disclosure follows the Advertising Standards Authority and Competition and Markets Authority guidance on clearly identifying advertising.
Frequently asked questions
Are all links commercial?
No. Links to regulators, support services and primary sources are never commercial.
Can an operator pay for a better score?
No. Scores are set editorially and any attempt to buy one is grounds for us to end the relationship.
